The Art Council of Wales today awarded Sue Williams, an artist from Swansea, £20,000 to “explore cultural attitudes towards female buttocks.” She plans on creating plaster casts of women’s behinds to try and see their place in contemporary culture as it applies in Europe and Africa.

I’d like to think this study will help society, but I’m afraid she’ll just use the money to travel the world. This begs the question: did anyone check her credentials before giving her this money? This is just a prime example of what you can do with an excellent grant writer!

Dating a Nerd Will Rock Your World!

Christy Christoffersen over on Associated Content posted a great article on why dating a nerd is the best. I suggest you check it out. She explains the differences between dating a nerd and dating one of those “pretty boys.” She sights great reasons why any woman should give a nerd a chance.

Next, and this is a pg-13 article so I’ll put it delicately, they like to please their women and if they don’t know how, they will either research it or be eager to learn from you.

I will attest to all of the items on her list, even the special one listed above. If I don’t know a solution I’ll find it. I tell my wife all the time that I love solving problems. Believe me, she does a good job of keeping my honey-do list full.

PCWorldput together a nice little slide show showing off some of the new tech related T-Shirts available from Threadless. Take a look at some of these, my personal favorite is the cassette tape trying to show-up the MP3 player. Reminds me of the time I got my first tape player…damn I’m getting old.
