Apparently the state of Arizona is so strapped for cash that they plan on selling the House and Senate buildings. The buildings have been in use for over 50 years, but that’s not stopping legislators from considering a $735 million deal. The deal would involve selling the buildings and leasing them back from a private investor.
They’re also considering contracting out the operation of prisons as well. What’s next pay toilets in the state parks? At least Arizona is not trying to tax the world like California.
