I was talking with my lovely wife Stacy the other day and she actually suggested the next house we get should be a ranch style. I couldn’t believe it, but she had a point. Getting up and down stairs really blows especially when your back is acting up and my wife’s knee keeps popping out of alignment.
It seems like it wasn’t that long ago that I was able to stay up all night long and go to work the next morning without even being phased. Now I just fall asleep on the couch at 8 o’clock at night and can’t seem to drag my ass out of bed in the morning. That doesn’t even include all the aches and pains. I digress…I’ve got a birthday coming up on the 6th and I guess it’s just got me thinking about my mortality.
I know I haven’t blogged much in quite a while but I figured I’d use it to perform a shameless plug. You heard me right, I’m shamelessly promoting the best makeup around. All kidding aside Mark makeup is some of the trendiest available today. Check out my store The Mark Experience and find out how you can get 18 shades of eye shadow for only $20.
My wife is very prone to…uh…we’ll call them “flights of fancy.” Every so often she’ll get an idea that pops into her head and she runs with it. We’ve talked about doing and buying all kinds of stuff in the past and the latest one is roller skates. We dug around a while and found an entire subculture of roller skating. Inline versus traditional or even a new one called Quadline skates, we checked them all out. After much discussion we decided to make our purchase.
After our research sessions we decided to go with Quadline skates. They have much bigger diameter wheels and can be set further apart. This translates to better stability. This will come in handy since I haven’t tried skating since I was 12! We scored a pretty good deal from Skates.com and they are due to arive today. Wish us luck…we’ll need it!
I’ll post some updates on how things are progressing.
